Character Camp

Character Camp brings together eight to ten brand leaders for a three-day intensive program at an off-site location. Participants generally include the core marketing team and senior executives at key creative suppliers.

Camp is designed to help this team crystallize a clear vision of the brand and brand character story.

At Camp, our team introduces the fundamental elements of characterization and storytelling through film clips, group exercises and improvised scenarios. The group uses these storytelling fundamentals to assess the existing brand and the brand character (if one already exists). Each participant contributes insights from his or her point of view of the brand and joins in group exercises and scenes. Improvisational actors aid the process by illustrating concepts and testing ideas. On the last day, the Character team presents a summary of findings, having distilled the essence of the brand character from the group’s work.
